  • Chef’s Companion Cheese Sauce Mix 
  • Water 
  • Beer 
  • Garlic Powder 
  • Paprika 
  • Spicy Brown Mustard 
  • Horseradish Sauce 
  • Cayenne Pepper (optional) 


  • 1-16 oz pouch 
  • 48 fl oz
  • 16 fl oz
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 tsp 
  • 1/2 tsp


  1. In a saucepan add 1-1/2 quarts (48 fl oz) water. Whisk in cheese sauce mix. 
  2. Cook mixture on stovetop stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken. 
  3. Add beer. Continue stirring on stovetop until it comes to a boil. 
  4. Remove from heat. Mix in garlic powder, mustard and horseradish until blended together. 
  5. Serve warm.
